I highly recommend Ali’s classes. I started pregnancy yoga at about 16 weeks pregnant and they helped so much. From the relaxation techniques to the birth education and meeting others mums to be and feeling part of a positive community of women all going through similar experiences. Me and my partner also decided to do private Hypnobirthing classes and were so glad we did. I’d go so far as to say that without the techniques we both learnt, I would not have been able to have the natural birth I wanted, after being rushed to hospital in an ambulance. Hypnobirthing Classes

I am a qualified Antenatal teacher and in the past have taught NCT classes. I now teach KGHypnobirthing but still hold the knowledge and skills of my NCT training. I am passionate about supporting parents to have the best possible birth. Parents that have taken my hypnobirthing classes are confident, informed, and feel able to make the decisions that are best for them. Birth has become highly medicalised, often with intervention rates much higher than recommended by WHO to keep mums and babies safe. My classes give you the tools to make informed decisions that are best for you and your baby.

Through the use of hypnobirthing techniques Mums learn how to remain calm in labour, bringing themselves into a relaxed place. This assists in the birth of your baby and reduces the pain that you feel in labour. Babies are often much calmer after the birth too.

The 6 C’s of hypnobirthing are central to preparation for a good birth and are what my classes are built around:

Communication

The role of Birth partners is really important in pregnancy, birth and postnatally. Learning and understanding the role of a good Birth partners is therefore a very important part of your course.

Pregnancy Yoga Classes

I am a BWY Pregnancy Yoga Teacher and have been teaching pregnancy yoga since 2016. Pregnancy yoga classes are tailored with expectant mothers in mind, helping you to practice safely throughout your pregnancy. My classes help Mums-to-be to stay strong, whilst easing the aches and pains that pregnancy may bring. Classes help mums to learn to relax through breathing and guided relaxations. These classes will also help you to prepare and strengthen your body for labour through gentle yoga poses.

Thanks to my strong knowledge of antenatal education, my classes also include antenatal education and hypnobirthing techniques. By attending classes from 15 weeks up to the birth of your baby you will learn to be confident, informed and calm for your birth. My classes teach my students how to:

  • Remain strong and healthy during pregnancy through guided yoga postures

  • Mentally prepare for the upcoming birth with a relaxed and confident mindset

  • Learn more about labour and parenthood - antenatal education

  • Learn breathing techniques to promote relaxation which can be used to help you before, during and after labour.

  • Learn Hypnobirthing techniques to be calm and confident about your b

  • Meet other mums to be, often making friends for life, and forming an instant support network for after the birth of baby.
